Jessica England, Ph.D., received her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Florida. Dr. England has experience providing treatment for a wide range of psychological disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. England has worked with patients in outpatient, inpatient, crisis, and counseling center settings and has provided individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Dr. England approaches therapy using a multicultural lens, shaping her interventions collaboratively to fit individual needs. She prioritizes creating a safe, comfortable therapeutic environment while empowering patients to reach their goals.
Dr. England is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Wagner College, where her research examines physical and psychological health, impacts of marginalization and economic constraints, career and vocation, and undergraduate student success. She has published in leading scientific journals such as the Journal of Counseling Psychology, The Counseling Psychologist, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Positive Psychology, Journal of Humanistic Psychology and Journal of American College Health and has published two book chapters. Dr. England is a reviewer for the Journal of Counseling Psychology and the Journal of Career Assessment.
