Cassandra Motelson, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist at the Metropolitan Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Dr. Motelson specializes in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for the treatment of mood, anxiety, and related disorders across the lifespan.
Dr. Motelson earned her Ph.D. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, her M.A. in clinical psychology from Teacher’s College, Columbia University, and her B.A. in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Dr. Motelson has provided comprehensive evaluations and neuropsychological assessments, as well as group and individual CBT treatment to individuals across the lifespan in various inpatient and outpatient settings, including the Children’s Day Unit at Columbia University Medical Center, New York State Psychiatric Institute, New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell, Westchester Division, and Kings County Hospital. Dr. Motelson has worked with the Metropolitan Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy since 2012.
