Robert Westerholm, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist at the Metropolitan Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Dr. Westerholm specializes in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders across the lifespan. He holds a clinical faculty position at the Columbia University Medical Center where he served as a clinical psychologist and CBT supervisor. Dr. Westerholm is a CBT supervisor at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Westerholm received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from DePaul University with an emphasis in the treatment of children and adolescents. He completed his Pre-Doctoral Internship and Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Westerholm’s clinical research has appeared in Clinical Psychology Review and he has served as an Ad hoc Reviewer for the Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology.
